On the holding of a thematic lesson at the Zonal State Archives in Orsha, as part of the Young Archivist pilot project

On January 26, 2026, as part of the Young Archivist project, Maria Nikulina, Head of the Document Management Department at the State Archives in Orsha, held a thematic lesson on the topic of «The Profession of an Archivist» with 7th-grade students from Orsha Secondary School No.8.

During this event, the students learned about the profession of an archivist, the history of the archival service in the Orsha District, the existing network of archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus, and learned about the main areas of archive activity, the composition of the collections stored, and the specifics of working with archival documents.
