The original exhibition project «History in Stone and Colors» has opened at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

Starting January 23, 2026, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the NARB) invites reading room users, guests, and photography enthusiasts to visit the original exhibition project by photographer Yulia Lisetskaya, «History in Stone and Colors». The exhibition was created with the participation of the primary organization of the public association «Belarusian Union of Women» of the NARB.

The photo exhibition is dedicated to the Orthodox and Catholic religious architecture of Belarus. The exhibition is the result of the author’s many years of expeditions, the goal of which was to capture the grandeur and resilience of Belarusian churches, which have survived centuries of war and destruction and remained intact.

As part of the exhibition opening, a guided tour was held for archive staff and reading room users, explaining the stories behind the photographs. The exhibition «History in Stone and Colors» is an invitation to travel across Belarus, inspiring the preservation of what has been saved for future generations.
