Employees of the Vitebsk Region State Archives participated in the opening of an exhibition organized at the initiative of the Alexei Talai Foundation

The exhibition «Blockade. Cards. Belarus Remembers» opened in Vitebsk.

The exhibition opened on January 23, 2026, at the Art Museum at the initiative of the Alexei Talai Local Charitable Foundation. The opening was attended by the foundation’s director, Paralympian and multiple world and European record holder, Alexei Talai.

The exhibition features ID cards, newspapers, documents detailing the daily lives of city residents, and photographs of Leningrad during the siege. A section of the exhibition features postcards issued in Leningrad during the siege.

As part of the opening of the aforementioned exhibition, a presentation of the unique catalog «Leningrad. Cards» by A.B.Semenov was held. This catalog was published for the first time in the Republic of Belarus at the initiative of the Alexei Talai Local Charitable Foundation.
