Final Meeting of the National Historical Archives of Belarus for 2025

On January 23, 2026, a final meeting of the staff of the state institution «National Historical Archives of Belarus» was held. Oleg Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, attended the meeting.

Archive Director Mikhail Glushakov summarized the achievement of key performance indicators in the areas of document preservation, document use, digitization of archival documents, research and publication activities, the creation and improvement of scientific reference tools, automated archival technologies, and information retrieval systems.

The work of each department was assessed, and the objectives facing the archive in 2026 were outlined. The archive’s management expressed gratitude to the staff for their fruitful work in fulfilling the archive’s objectives.

Oleg Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, gave a positive assessment of the archive’s work, and issued a number of instructions aimed at improving the institution’s activities in the coming year.

Based on their work, the Certificate of Honor of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to: Natalia Tomashevna Buloichik, Deputy Director of the Archives, and Galina Yakovlevna Goloviy, Chief Accountant.

For conscientious and productive work, high professionalism, and exemplary performance of official duties, the Certificate of Honor of the National Historical Archives of Belarus was awarded to:

Ruslan Aleksandrovich Kanopatsky, Chief Engineer;

Angelina Andreevna Latysheva, Head of the Archival Document Digitization Department.

The National Historical Archives of Belarus expressed gratitude to:

Alexander Vyacheslavovich Zenkovich, Head of the Document Use, Information, and Publication Department;

Elena Anatolyevna Shimko, Lead Archivist, Department of Document Use, Information, and Publication Activities.

The Department of Archival Document Digitization was recognized as the best department in the archive based on its 2025 performance.

The winners of the «Genealogy of the Year at the National Archives of Belarus» competition (based on its 2025 performance) were awarded.

1st place went to Yulia Igorevna Mazanik, Leading Researcher, Thematic and Genealogical Research Sector, Department of Document Use, Information, and Publication Activities;

2nd place went to Sergei Nikolaevich Ryndin, Deputy Director of the archive;

3rd place went to Tatyana Vasilyevna Sheveleva, Deputy Head of the Department of Document and Collection Preservation.

Following the awards ceremony for the archive’s staff, Mikhail Glushakov presented Oleg Voinov with books from the National Archives of Belarus, published in 2025.
