A unified information day was held in Molodechno region organizations: a delegate from the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly spoke at the zonal state archive
A unified information day was held in Molodechno region organizations, and the zonal state archive was no exception. The topic of meetings with staff was «Five-Year Plan of Quality – Results of a Year of Improvement». The speaker was Andrei Sredov, a delegate from the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly and chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Molodechno Central District Hospital. He discussed the year’s results in housing and utilities, focusing on the modernization of water supply and heating systems, the implementation of energy-saving technologies, and improving the quality of public services; in landscaping, with an emphasis on planting trees and shrubs, landscaping public gardens and courtyards, and creating new recreation areas; and in road infrastructure, highlighting road repairs and construction, the installation of modern lighting, and the development of pedestrian areas and bike paths. In matters of cleanliness and order, including organizing cleanup days, improving waste collection and recycling systems, and combating illegal dumping; as well as in the social development of areas near schools, hospitals, and cultural institutions, creating a comfortable environment for residents.
In a separate section, the speaker introduced the archivists to the draft Five-Year Development Program for Belarus, which is to be approved at the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly meeting. This program, in particular, outlines priorities for economic growth, regional development, support for the social sphere, and strengthening historical memory. The meeting was held in the format of a lively discussion.
The archivists, in turn, gave the guest a tour and presented an exhibition of periodicals, «All-Belarusian People’s Assembly in the Mirror of the Media» — national and regional newspapers dating back to 1996, the first meeting of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly. These newspapers reflect programs, keynotes, delegate lists, opinions, and discussions. These materials allow us to trace how Belarus’s development vectors have changed over the decades, what goals were set in different years, but the people—their well-being, work, and a dignified life—remained central to all programs and decisions.
