The State Archives of the Minsk Region participated in the anniversary event of the A.S.Pushkin Minsk Regional Library

On December 2, 2025, the A.S. Pushkin Minsk Regional Library hosted an international scientific and practical roundtable discussion, «Library – a Space of Meanings: Co-Creation, Models of Information Interaction, Cultural and Historical Memory», dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the A.S. Pushkin Minsk Regional Library. The event was part of the international scientific and practical conference, «Berkovsky Readings – 2025», held at the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The roundtable included a presentation of the monograph «Art Collections of the Princes Wittgenstein in the Context of 19th-Century European Art» by O.N.Popko, Doctor of Art History and Director of the State Scientific Institution «Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language, and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus».
Representatives of the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus, the Brest Regional Library named after M.Gorky, and other institutions participated in the meeting. Also present was the guest of honor, Mairena Nieves, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus. Library staff from the Russian Federation presented video reports.
The State Archives of the Minsk Region actively collaborates with the regional library on exhibitions and joint events and presentations. Archive staff participated in the roundtable, presenting a report entitled «The Role of Joint Initiatives: Cooperation between the State Archives of the Minsk Region and the A.S.Pushkin Minsk Regional Library». Representatives of the BRSM Archive also attended the event and participated in a master class entitled «The Openwork Art of Belarusian Vytinanka».
