An event commemorating the liberation of Rechitsa at Secondary School No.8

On November 14, 2025, as part of the «Archives for Schools» campaign, the Rechitsa Zonal State Archives participated in a historical and patriotic hour, «Rechitsa. November 1943. Liberation», held at Secondary School No.8 in Rechitsa and dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of Rechitsa’s liberation from Nazi invaders (November 18, 1943).

Using photographs and archival documents, archive staff recreated the chronicle of the Red Army and partisan combat operations in Rechitsa and the Rechitsa District in November 1943 and introduced the audience to historical publications from the archive’s research and reference library containing information about the liberation of their hometown.
