Documentary Exhibition «October Revolution Day. 1917»
On November 3, 2025, at the initiative of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture, and Science of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a seminar for history teachers from Minsk educational institutions, «Fair History», was held at the Moskva Cinema. As part of this event and the implementation of the «Archives for Schools» project, the exhibition «October Revolution Day. 1917» was opened, prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB).
The October Revolution of 1917 is one of the most significant political events of the 20th century, influencing the subsequent course of world history. For our republic, the opportunity arose to create a real state on the Soviet foundation. Many social achievements achieved by the Bolshevik Party have now become one of the foundations of the social policy of the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition presents unique documents from the NARB, reflecting the history of the October Revolution in Belarus. Of particular interest are posters, leaflets, telegrams, appeals from various political parties, as well as photographs from the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, which tell the story of the revolutionary events in our country.
