On the participation of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno in a national cleanup day

On October 25, 2025, the staff of the state institution «National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno» took part in a national cleanup day. The entire adjacent archive area was cleared of trash, dry grass, and leaves, shrubs were trimmed, and new ornamental shrubs were planted. The archival institution’s employees’ workstations were also tidied up.

Archivists of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno tidied up the burial site of Aleksey Sergeevich Katkov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and director of the Central Historical Archives from 1954 to 1986, in the cemetery on Kosmonavtov Street in Grodno.

Occupational health and safety regulations were observed during all types of cleanup work in the adjacent archive area. Funds collected by archive staff were transferred to the national cleanup day account.
