«Archives for School» Campaign at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

On October 22, 2025, students from Group 38-B of Lida College of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno visited the Zonal State Archives in Lida. The students participated in a lesson on «Introduction to Archival Science» and were given tours of the archives and exhibitions.

The college students learned how documents are deposited in the archives, how to quickly search for information among the archive’s large collection of documents and holdings, and how to preserve and use them.

As part of the «Open Film Archive» project, the students were shown the films «Reunification», «Liberation of the Grodno Region», and «History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
