Ceremonial meeting of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons

On October 1, 2025, the Republic of Belarus celebrates the International Day of Older Persons. This holiday honors the wisdom, experience, and invaluable contribution of the older generation to the development of society.

On December 14, 1990, the UN General Assembly declared October 1 as the International Day of Older Persons to draw public attention to the problems of older people.

At the staff meeting, Natalia Buloichik, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus, congratulated the older generation on the international holiday, expressed gratitude for their long-term work and contribution to the development of archival science, and introduced the staff to the history of the holiday and the main areas of protecting the rights of older people in the Republic of Belarus.

The older generation received pleasant symbolic gifts from the primary trade union organization of the archive.
