On September 26, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science was held

At the meeting of the Academic Council, held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, reports on the implementation of planned and unscheduled research work for the third quarter of 2025 were reviewed. The reports were presented by the heads and responsible executors of the following themes: I.V.Lyutarevich, S.E.Kupriyanov, Z.V.Antonovich, I.A.Goncharova, E.P.Dernovich, V.A.Barbarchuk, E.V.Shumskaya, A.A.Sashko, V.S.Pozdnyakov, V.D.Rusetskaya, and N.A.Kosyak.

Additionally, the Academic Council meeting considered the topic of «Using Fungicides to Ensure the Preservation of Archival Documents on Paper Media» (presented by I.A.Goncharova, Leading Researcher in the Archival Science Department).

The results of the research on all topics were positively assessed. Following the discussion of the scientific issues, recommendations for further work on these topics were developed.

The Academic Council also recommended for publication the next issue of the Belarusian Archaeological Yearbook, the reference book «Higher and Central Bodies of State Authority and Administration in Soviet Belarus (December 1920 – June 1941)», and the collection «Archival Science in the Republic of Belarus in Documents and Materials (1991–2022)».

E.A.Stukanova, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus; A.A.Paplevka, Deputy Director of the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities; and S.N.Khodin, Head of the Department of Source Studies at BSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, actively participated in the work of the Academic Council, offering helpful advice and comments on the research projects prepared.
