The Rechitsa Regional State Archives presents a document naming the art gallery of the Rechitsa Local History Museum after Alexander Isachev
Since September 2007, a branch of the Rechitsa Local History Museum—an art gallery — has operated in a restored building in the historic part of Rechitsa, a late 19th-early 20th century architectural monument. Later, to perpetuate the memory of the world-famous fellow countryman and artist Alexander Isachev (1955–1987), on July 15, 2014, the Rechitsa District Executive Committee adopted Resolution No.1192 (F. 348. Op. 4. D. 710. L. 86), which read: «To assign the name of the artist Alexander Anatolyevich Isachev to the structural subdivision of the art gallery of the cultural institution «Rechitsa Museum of Local History» and henceforth to be called the art gallery of the cultural institution ‘Rechitsa Museum of Local History’ named after A.A.Isachev».
As a result, since January 2015, in honor of the 60th anniversary of Alexander Isachev’s birth, the art gallery has been named after him. One of the gallery’s exhibition halls houses a permanent exhibition of Isachev’s paintings and graphic works from the museum’s collection, which is the only state collection of the artist’s works in the Republic of Belarus.
