About the film screening organized by the State Archives of the Brest Region in the Brest branch of the RUE Beltelecom

On August 5, 2025, employees of the State Archives of the Brest Region took part in an event called «We Remember! We Are Proud!», organized by the Brest branch of the RUE Beltelecom for members of the youth council of the primary trade union organization of the branch and veterans of communications.

During the event, the branch employees told those present about the combat path of communications workers – participants in the Great Patriotic War.

As part of the event, the documentary film «On the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the City of Brest from the Nazi Invaders» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents was shown.

Before the screening, the head of the department for the use and publication of documents, Galina Kalustova, told those present about the grave consequences of the Great Patriotic War for Belarus, about the occupation of Brest; she dwelled on the history of the creation of the documentary.
