Film lecture in Rechitsa Gorgaz

On July 17, 2025, at the Rechitsa Gorgaz PU of the Gomel Oblgaz Republican Unitary Enterprise, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, a film lecture was held with a screening of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents based on the newsreel materials stored there.

First, employees of the Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa told the Gorgaz employees about the content of the film and the contribution of the Soviet Union to the victory over Nazi Germany. Then, a documentary film was presented to the audience, reflecting the main stages of the war: the defense of the Brest Fortress, the Battle of Moscow, the partisan movement, Operation Bagration, and the battles in Germany.
