On the lesson conducted by the employees of the zonal state archive in Kobrin as part of the «Archives to School» campaign

On July 16, 2025, specialists from the zonal state archive in Kobrin conducted a lesson on the topic «700 years of Kobrin: how it was» for the pupils of the Kobrin Children’s Village.

The children learned: how the preparations for the anniversary celebration were going, what the program was planned, how the city holiday itself went. They got acquainted with archival documents and the regional newspaper «Kamunistychnaya Pratsa» for 1987, which narrates about this historical event.

In the reading room, a documentary film «History of the Great Victory» was also shown for teenagers.

Traditionally, a tour of the archive was held for the pupils of the Kobrin Children’s Village.
