«Youth. A Look at the Media». The Zonal State Archives in Molodechno took part in the dialogue platform of the district organization of the ROO «Belaya Rus»

The dialogue platform «Youth. A Look at the Media» was held, where the challenges of the modern information space were discussed.

Archivist of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno Maria Mechkovskaya gave a report «Youth as a Keeper of Historical Memory in the Media Space», which outlined the main areas of the archive’s work in the field of media production: the «Archival Bulletin» initiative and participation in the international media project «Without Statute of Limitations: Unconquered».

«Participation of young people in the media space today is not just a trend, but the most important tool for the formation of a civic position, patriotic education and the preservation of historical memory», the archivist emphasized.

The participants also discussed issues of trust in the media, the fight against fakes, the role of social networks and ethics in the profession. Particular emphasis was placed on the development of youth media and support for aspiring authors.

The event showed that the new generation is ready to change the media space, combining respect for history, traditional values and digital trends.
