The Zonal State Archive in Rechitsa presents a document on the assignment of the title «Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Belarus»

From 1965 to 1999, the position of director of the Rechitsa Hardware Plant was held by Alexander Leontievich Korolkov (1935–2019). During his leadership, the plant’s labor was completely mechanized, new buildings were erected, many advanced equipment and technologies were introduced, and the living conditions of plant workers were improved. Every year, 35-40 apartments were rented out for plant workers, 4 kindergartens, the Solnechny pioneer camp, a recreation center, new buildings for the plant administration and the House of Culture, and a sports hall were built.

Having considered the petition of the Council of the Rechitsa Hardware Plant, on December 29, 1997, the Rechitsa City Executive Committee adopted Resolution No.902 (F.342.Op.1.D.245.L.303) of the following content: «To ask the Gomel Regional Executive Committee to petition the President of the Republic of Belarus to award Alexander Leontievich Korolkov the honorary title of «Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Belarus» for many years of conscientious work, great personal contribution to the development of production and high performance of the enterprise. As a result, in 1998, the director of the Rechitsa Hardware Plant A.L.Korolkov was awarded this title.
