On the eve of Independence Day, Molodechno archivists held a series of film lectures for pupils of health school camps in the Volozhin district

Archivists of the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held a film lecture «History of the Great Victory» in the Yunost cinema in Volozhin for students of grades 1-8 of the city’s educational institutions. Before watching the documentary, the students got acquainted with the documentary exhibition «Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War». During the conversation, the archivists emphasized the events that took place in those years on the Volozhin land. Maria Mechkovskaya gave an annotation to the film, in an accessible form telling about the key stages of the Great Patriotic War and the importance of preserving the historical truth.

Also, as part of the film lecture, the archivists visited the State Educational Institution «Health Camp «Kingfisher» of the Volozhin district, where they showed the film «History of the Great Victory», as well as a presentation of the documentary exhibition.
