Virtual International Exhibition of Archival Documents «Three Sides of One Tragedy»

As part of the Plan of Joint Events for the Development of Cooperation between Archival Institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation for 2025-2027, the Sverdlovsk Region Archives Department and the State Archives of Administrative Bodies of the Sverdlovsk Region presented the inter-archival exhibition project «Three Sides of One Tragedy».

The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the civil war in the Urals and reflects the events of 1917-1921 through authentic archival documents. Five thematic sections present materials about the «Reds», «Whites», participants from the «third forces», as well as the consequences of the war.

The project uses documents from Russian archives, including federal and regional institutions, as well as materials from foreign partners and museums. The exhibition will be of interest to both specialists and a wide audience interested in the history of the Civil War.
