Visit to the exposition «Road to Victory» in the Minsk International Exhibition Center

On May 28, 2025, employees of the National Historical Archive of Belarus together with the management of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the republican archives visited the exposition «Road to Victory», located on the basis of the Minsk International Exhibition Center.

The exposition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The compositional center of the exhibition is the recreated Victory Square, around it thematic blocks are presented in chronological order, starting from the attack of Nazi Germany on the Soviet Union, the heroic defense of the Brest Fortress. Defensive battles on the territory of Belarus, key battles on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War are presented («Liberation of Belarus»; «Liberation of Europe. Defeat of Nazi Germany. Results of the war»). A separate block is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War in Belarus.

The exhibition hall presents more than 600 unique exhibits dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, actively using various multimedia technologies. Each visitor to the exhibition had the opportunity to raise the Victory Banner over the Reichstag using augmented reality technology. The exhibition reflects the strength, unity and historical continuity of the Belarusian people.
