Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in the scientific and practical conference «Archival Dialogue: from the Great Victory to Peaceful Life: to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War»

On May 22, 2025, Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Sergei Ryndin took part in the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Archival Dialogue: from the Great Victory to Peaceful Life: to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War», which was held by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk, Nezavisimosti Ave., 116).

In his report «The Situation of the Central State Historical Archives of the BSSR during the Great Patriotic War», S.Ryndin described the state of the archive’s funds on the eve of the war, the situation of the institution during military operations, the activities of the occupation authorities in removing archival documents outside the BSSR, the re-evacuation of archival funds and the restoration of the documentary collection and the material and technical base of the archive in the post-war period.
