On conducting an object training in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art

On May 22, 2025, an object training on actions in emergency situations and upon a civil defense signal was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.

Objectives of the training:

– development of unity of views on the organization and methodology of conducting an object training in the organization in the event of an emergency;
– preparation of the most effective methods of organizing management, notification, communication and interaction;
– improving the coherence, practical skills, and readiness of employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art in the event of an emergency;
– improving the skills of the enterprise management in conducting the State Emergency Service and Civil Defense events, and for the rest of the trainees – the ability to perform methods and techniques of protection in the event of an emergency;
– improving the protection of workers in the event of an emergency;
– checking the reality of the implementation of plans for the prevention and elimination of emergencies and the civil defense plan;
– increasing the responsibility of all categories of trainees for the complete and high-quality implementation of the tasks of the State Emergency Service and Civil Defense in peacetime.

During the training, when practicing the planned scenarios of emergency situations, civil defense units of both archives were involved: the fire extinguishing department (Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation) and the sanitary unit (Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art).

The training was attended by the chief specialist of the sector for organizing the functioning of the state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and civil defense of the Central District Department of Emergency Situations N.V.Karpyak.
