«Prevention of Extremism, Corruption, and Counteraction to Terrorism Financing»– Topic of Meeting with Legal Expert at Central Laboratory

On May 22, 2025, a meeting of employees with the head of the Partizansky District Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for Preservation of Documents N.N.Strangelsky was held at the Central Laboratory for Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of Belarus.

The expert discussed with the team measures to prevent extremism, corruption, and counteraction to the financing of terrorist and extremist activities, explaining the key legal provisions in these areas.

Nikolai Nikolaevich told how law enforcement agencies combat the spread of radical ideas, corruption schemes, and channels for financing illegal organizations. He explained in detail what liability is provided for violations.

«Corruption and extremism destroy trust in the state. Even minor violations create the ground for more serious crimes», he emphasized.

They also discussed how to recognize attempts to engage in illegal activities. Clear recommendations were given on how to act in such cases and not to succumb to provocations.

The event became part of a systematic work to improve the legal literacy of employees and strengthen the corporate culture based on law-abidingness and social responsibility.
