April 26, 1986 is a date that has become mournful not only for the citizens of Belarus, but also for the entire globe. On this day, all civilized humanity remembers the events at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, about those who, not sparing their lives and health, stood up to fight the radiation element.

Every year on this day, city residents gather at the memorial sign «To the Victims of Chernobyl» to remember the event that changed our destinies once and for all.

On April 26, 2025, employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Mozyr», headed by director Tatyana Sergeevna Vakhrusheva, took part in the rally «Chernobyl. Preserving the memory ..»., dedicated to the 39th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident.
