On the excursion for employees of the Mogilev regional organization of the Belarusian trade union of employees of state and other institutions in the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the «Archives for School» campaign, on April 18, 2025, employees of the Mogilev regional organization of the Belarusian trade union of employees of state and other institutions visited the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region». The archival exhibitions «Defense of Mogilev», «Partisan Memory», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War», and the personal collection of I.A.Tikhonov were presented to the attention of the employees.

Head of the department T.V.Shevchik and leading archivist S.N.Bryuzgin introduced the guests to the archival documents from the funds of the Bobruisk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, the Collection of Documents of Participants in the October Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Patriotic War, Socialist Construction, Heroes of Socialist Labor of the Mogilev Region, the personal origin of I.A. Tikhonov, periodicals and told about the partisan and underground movements during the Great Patriotic War in the region, about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.

Also, a tour of the archive was organized for the guests, during which the head of the department S.V.Bartsuleva told about the history of the archive, about the work of the archive, about the storage modes of documents, about the composition of the documents stored in the archive.

At the end of the tour, the trade union workers visited the museum exhibition on the history of the party archive.
