On the excursion for students of the Brest State College of Communications in the State Archives of the Brest Region

On April 11, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, employees of the State Archives of the Brest Region conducted a sightseeing tour for 3rd-year students of the educational institution «Brest State College of Communications» studying in the specialty «Documentation Support of Management».

During the visit to the archive storage, Natalya Yakuta, an employee of the Department of Use and Publication of Documents, told the students about the conditions for storing and using archival documents, and about the process of digitizing archival documents.

In the laboratory for the repair and restoration of archival documents, the children were shown the process of document restoration.

As part of their career guidance, the students learned that they can get a degree in historian-archivist at the Belarusian State University in the Faculty of History.
