Archivists are visited by employees of the Main Statistical Office of the Mogilev Region and representatives of the Mogilev Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions

On April 18, 2025, an excursion was held at the State Archive of the Mogilev Region for employees of the Main Statistical Office of the Mogilev Region and representatives of the Mogilev Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions. Among the guests at the event were the head of the Main Statistical Office of the Mogilev Region Elena Anatolyevna Morozova and the chairman of the Mogilev Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions Grigory Aleksandrovich Voronin. The excursion participants visited the archive storage facility, where they were able to get acquainted with technologies that meet modern standards and technical requirements for storing and using documents. Then the guests were presented with a banner exhibition «Let’s look back at the past». Archival documents and photographs dedicated to the history of the period of the Great Patriotic War and post-war reconstruction aroused keen interest among those present. The tour continued with a visit to the reading room, where guests could ask archivists questions about documents and their search in the archive.

At the end of the event, the tour participants got acquainted with the exhibition of the most interesting archival documents related to the field of education, the period of the Second World War. Then there was a demonstration of the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
