On the visit to the monument to the fallen civilians and partisans of Belynichi, Belynichi district, Mogilev region by an employee of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region»

As part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the director of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region» Elena Nabokova visited the monument to the fallen civilians and partisans of Belynichi, Belynichi district, Mogilev region.

The monument was unveiled on May 9, 1995. Its opening was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Great Victory. On the concrete pedestal there are ten figures, which are shown in motion. The soldiers seem to be coming from the war to us to tell their descendants about the terrible years of struggle.

The monument contains plaques with the names of those who died during the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War, as well as a memorial to the soldiers-liberators of the 42nd Infantry Division and the 322nd Infantry Regiment of the 32nd Division (commander Lieutenant General I. T. Grishin) of the 2nd Belorussian Front, who liberated Belynichi from the Nazi invaders on June 29, 1944.
