The National Archives of the Republic of Belarus has published a popular science publication from the Partisan Archive series

As part of the planned work of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus for 2025, the first book of this year from the Partisan Archive series, Partisan Life, was published.

The publication was prepared with the support of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. In 2024, the Partisan Archive publishing project was launched, aimed primarily at a youth audience. Two books were published – Partisan Art and Documents on the History of the Partisan Movement.

The book Partisan Life examines the main aspects of the history of partisan life: living conditions, food, medical care, and cultural and educational activities. Under occupation, the organization of high-quality everyday life and well-organized life of forest soldiers were of the utmost importance for their combat capability, maintaining high morale and fighting spirit, and also allowed them to more easily endure all the hardships and deprivations.

The publication was published as a socially significant project and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

It is distributed in a network of bookstores in Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
