On the implementation of the republican campaign «Archives for School» in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On March 18, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation conducted an excursion for two groups of students of the Belarusian National Technical University.

The excursionists got acquainted with the history of BGANTD, its building, structure, areas of activity, and also visited the archive storage. In the reading room of the archive, they were presented with the design documentation of the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian National Technical University, photographs of the destruction and restoration of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War. The students were very interested in the documents from the personal fund of the People’s Architect of the BSSR V.A.Korol.

The excursion to the archive allowed the students to get to know the historical heritage of the country better and understand the importance of preserving historical documents for future generations. The students left positive reviews about the excursion, expressing gratitude to the archive staff for an interesting and educational event.
