On the ceremonial meeting of the labor collective of BGANTD and BGAMLI
On the eve of the celebration of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus on March 14, 2025, a ceremonial meeting of the labor collective was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation and the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art.
The Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus is celebrated on March 15 and is dedicated to the basic law of the state, adopted in 1994. The Constitution enshrined the principles of sovereignty, democracy and the rule of law, defined the system of government and the rights of citizens. The document has undergone a number of changes, the most significant of which were made at the referendum on February 27, 2022, reflecting current challenges and trends in state development.
Today, the Constitution plays a key role in ensuring law and order, socio-economic stability and national identity of Belarus, being the foundation of its legal system.
The report at the meeting was made by Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Law Andrei Vladimirovich Gulyakevich. In the format of an open dialogue, he covered in detail the key aspects of the formation and development of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, its importance for the legal and institutional structure of the country.
Also, the archives staff watched the video «The Constitution of My Country», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
