A working meeting with representatives of the Belarusian Notary Chamber was held at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region to exchange experience in document digitization

On March 11, 2025, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region was visited by Lyubov Verteiko, a leading specialist of the legal department of the Belarusian Notary Chamber, the information technology department, representatives of the notary archive of the Minsk city notary district, the head of the notary archive of the Vitebsk notary district and the chairperson of the TNP of the Vitebsk Region Tatyana Maskina to get acquainted with the work on digitizing archival documents.

Specialists of the State Archive familiarized the participants of the event with the methodology for preparing documents for scanning, digitizing on a planetary scanner, quality control of scanning and accounting for digital copies. The chief custodian of the funds, Karpekin K.G., held a master class on scanning.

As part of the working meeting, a tour of the state archive storage facility was held for representatives of the notary office.
