The «Archives for School» campaign for students of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.1 of Baranovichi named after S.I.Gritsevets»

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, on February 24, 2025, the zonal state archive in Baranovichi was visited by students of grade 9 «B» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.1 of Baranovichi named after S.I.Gritsevets». The students were presented with documents from the archive’s funds relating to the history of the Great Patriotic War. Among them were the materials of the Baranovichi Regional Commission for Assistance to the Work of the Extraordinary State Commission for the Investigation and Establishment of the Atrocities of the Nazi Invaders and Their Accomplices, which clearly demonstrate the scale of the tragic events of that time and their consequences.

At the end of the lesson, a career guidance talk and a tour of the archive storage facility were held.
