Lesson for Defender of the Fatherland Day at the ZGA in Zhlobin

On February 21, 2025, employees of the state archive in Zhlobin and the State Cultural Institution «Zhlobin District Children’s Library» held a joint lesson for February 23 «My Homeland Belarus in Faces. Defenders of the Fatherland» with students of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.1 of Zhlobin» at the library.

The purpose of the meeting: to introduce children to the fates of fellow countrymen heroes, to expand their understanding and knowledge of the Armed Forces, to foster love for the Motherland, a sense of pride in their army.

The students were introduced to the documentary exhibition «Your fellow countrymen are glorious in their exploits» and the book exhibition «They defended the Motherland». At the end of the meeting, the film «Liberation» was shown, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents» within the framework of the project «Open Film Archive».
