Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in the documentary exhibition «On Guard for the Fatherland at All Times»

On February 18, 2025, the National Historical Archives of Belarus, together with the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, prepared and placed in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus a documentary exhibition «On Guard for the Fatherland at All Times», dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

The archive presents documents from the late 18th – early 20th centuries, which highlight the development of military affairs in the Belarusian lands during the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Russian Empire. The earliest document at the exhibition dates back to the end of the 18th century. This is a statement by Stanislav Kolupailo about providing him with assistance for military equipment. The exhibition displays service records and photographs of military personnel, images of military insignia, uniforms and a number of other documents. The exhibition materials relating to the pre-revolutionary period were prepared by Deputy Director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus Sergei Ryndin.
