Information hour «Developing Belarus. United Belarus» in the Institution «Zonal State Archives in Polotsk»

On January 24, 2025, as part of the republican campaign «Archives to School», an information hour «Developing Belarus. United Belarus» was held for 9th grade students of the Educational Institution «Polotsk State Gymnasium No.1 named after F.Skaryna». The lesson was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the presidency in the Republic of Belarus.

The purpose of the information hour was to familiarize the project participants with the main achievements of the country over the years of independence in various fields – industry, agriculture, science, education, medicine, culture and sports, archival activities.

As part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could» the video «On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Vitebsk region from the Nazi invaders» was shown.

At the end of the event, a tour of the institution was organized for the students.
