Implementation of the Republican campaign «Archives for School» in BGAMLI

On January 13, 2025, an educational excursion for students of the UO «BSU Law College» was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), during which the students got acquainted with the archival heritage on the history of Belarusian literature and art stored in the archive-museum.

The excursion for future lawyers was conducted by the head of the department of information, publication and use of documents V.V.Birulya. She spoke about the main areas of activity of the archive-museum, its funds and the value of the materials stored in it. The students learned about the process of acquisition, storage and use of archival documents, as well as about the work of archivists and researchers.

In the reading room of BGAMLI, students visited the exhibition of the master artist Alexei Martynov «Doll People», which presented designer dolls created using various techniques and from different materials. At the end of the excursion, the students expressed their gratitude to the staff of BGAMLI for an interesting and informative program.
