On January 11, 2025, the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus O.L. Voinov, heads and employees of the republican archival institutions visited the exhibition of achievements «My Belarus» in the Minsk International Exhibition Center «BelExpo»
The event was attended by the directors of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K.Demyanyuk, the National Historical Archives of Belarus M.M.Glushakov, the Belarusian State Archive – Museum of Literature and Art E.A.Makarenko, the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs A.E.Rybakov, the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of the Archival Industry D.V.Shabrov, deputy directors of the National Historical Archives of Belarus N.T.Buloichik, S.N.Ryndin, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation G.S.Zholnerkevich, the Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus S.I.Mezga, editor-in-chief of the magazine «Archives and Records Management» V.V.Adamchik, as well as employees of the republican archival institutions.
Representatives of the archival industry got acquainted with the country’s achievements over the past 30 years – the most important cultural, technological, infrastructural and social developments.
The exhibition is organized in the format of thematic locations with an area of more than 30,000 square meters under the general title «My Belarus – a Place of Power». They present the advanced achievements of Belarus in various fields: «Quality Mark», «Cultural Heritage», «We are the Future», «Smart City», «Beautiful Country», «Science and Intelligence», «Care and Health», «Nuclear Energy», «Sports Country», «Agriculture», «On Guard», «Sports and Tourism», «Mechanical Engineering».
One of the largest locations «Cultural Heritage» is dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus. It presents archival photographs of settlements, scanned pages and facsimile editions of old Belarusian literature, batleika, various archaeological finds, Slutsk belts, examples of straw weaving, folk weaving and glass casting, three-dimensional models of architectural monuments from all regions of our country.
