The website of the National Historical Archives of Belarus has posted a virtual exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the Minsk Regional Library named after A.S.Pushkin

The National Historical Archives of Belarus has prepared and posted on the archive’s website a virtual exhibition dedicated to the opening and activities of the Minsk Public Library named after A.S.Pushkin.

The exhibition displays documents from 1845-1918, including correspondence of the provincial administration on the opening of a public library in Minsk, resolutions of the Minsk City Duma on the approval of the library charter, reports on library maintenance expenses, materials on the composition of the library’s management, etc.

The identification and selection of materials was carried out by the deputy director for research work Sergei Ryndin.
