On the holding of an information hour with a film screening by the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» for students of the educational institution «Mogilev State Regional Institute for Education Development»

On December 17, 2024, employees of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» held an information hour at the educational institution «Mogilev State Regional Institute for Education Development» for employees of the institute and teachers of general and secondary educational institutions of the Mogilev Region – students of advanced training courses.

During the event, the leading archivist of the department of scientific use of documents and information Alexander Petukhov introduced those present to the banner exhibition of archival documents «Again, let’s look closer to the past.»

The students of the institute were also shown the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents» (Dzerzhinsk), dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, and a discussion was held on the topic «Liberation of Mogilev in 1944».
