A career guidance event was held at the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region

On December 12, 2024, a meeting of archivists with students of the graduating class of the state educational institution «Secondary School No. 3 of Gomel named after D.N. Penyazkov» was held at the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region for the purpose of career guidance.

As part of the event, the children were introduced to career guidance material. The students were provided with information about the conditions for admission to the history department of the Belarusian State University, the benefits of studying, the prospects for employment of graduates of the department, and also focused on the opportunities and benefits of obtaining an education on the terms of targeted training at the history department.

After the career guidance talk, the students were shown the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
