On the participation of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» in the scientific and practical conference «Historical Regional Studies of Belarus: Experience, Problems and Development Prospects (until the 100th Anniversary of the Central Bureau of Regional Studies)»

On December 5-6, 2024, in Minsk, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted the scientific and practical conference «Historical Regional Studies of Belarus: Experience, Problems and Development Prospects» (until the 100th Anniversary of the Central Bureau of Regional Studies).

The conference was organized by the Institute of History and the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The conference was attended by the leading archivist of the department of scientific use of documents and information of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» Alexander Petukhov.

During the meeting of the section «Historical Regional Studies of Belarus» he made a report on the topic: «The Archival Fund of Ieranim Filipovich as a source in the history of the city of Magilevo».

During the conference, a presentation of the exhibition of archival documents for the 100th anniversary of the Central Bureau of Regional Studies from the funds of the Central Scientific Archive of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as well as books and magazines from the funds of the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, took place.
