Meeting with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1 of the Hero City of Minsk in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus
On November 28, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a meeting was held in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with members of the memorial detachment of Post No.1, which carries the Honorary Watch of Memory at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square. This time, the archive was visited by students of Gymnasium No.146 of Minsk.
A tour of the archive was held for the children. Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, head of the department of personal origin funds, spoke about its history, the composition and features of document storage, and the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities. During the tour, the students got acquainted with the photo documentary exhibition of the archive «Under the Sign of Quality». The students visited the archive of personal funds, where they got acquainted with documents from the personal archives of state, party and public figures, participants in the Great Patriotic War. In the repository of partisan formations funds, I.V.Dorogush held a talk on the history of the partisan movement and familiarized them with the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award sheets, photo albums and other documents.
