Documentary exhibition at the Belarusian Legal Forum

On November 28, 2024, within the framework of the Belarusian Legal Forum «Law in the Modern World», the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus presented a temporary documentary exhibition «Formation of Belarusian Statehood».

The exhibition presents unique documents from the archive: Manifesto of the Provisional Workers’ and Peasants’ Soviet Government of Belarus of January 1, 1919; Declaration of Independence of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic of 1920; Declaration of the Belarusian People’s Assembly on the Issue of the Entry of Western Belarus into the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic of 1939; Declaration of the Supreme Council of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic on the State Sovereignty of the BSSR of 1990; standards of the State Emblem and Flag of the Republic of Belarus and other documents.

Head of the Department for the Use of Documents and Information M.A.Starostenko introduced the exhibition to the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus E.I.Kovalenko and the participants of the event.
