On the participation of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» in the XVIII regional St. George’s educational readings «80th anniversary of the Great Victory: memory and spiritual experience of generations»
As part of the extensive program of the XVIII regional St. George’s educational readings on the theme «80th anniversary of the Great Victory: memory and spiritual experience of generations» (11/12/2024-12/10/2024) on the basis of the educational institution «Mogilev State Polytechnic College» on November 22, 2024, an offline-online seminar «Love and know your Fatherland. History in the name of peace» was held. The seminar was attended by employees of museums, educational institutions and students of the educational institution «Mogilev State Polytechnic College».
During the seminar, the leading archivist of the department of scientific use of documents and information of the institution «State Archives of the Mogilev Region» Alexander Petukhov made a report on the topic «Socio-cultural portrait of workers of industrial enterprises of the city of Mogilev in the post-war period».
The participants’ reports aroused keen interest among the students, and numerous questions were asked about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.
