Presentation of the information system for automating the activities of the state archives of the subjects of the Russian Federation using artificial intelligence technologies in the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus

As part of the study of international practice of automation of archives, including with the use of artificial intelligence technologies, on the basis of the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, on November 12, 2024, a presentation of the Nakhodka–SPHERE information system was held, designed to automate the activities of state archives of the subjects of the Russian Federation, municipal archives, as well as other organizations, developed by Nakhodka LLC–AIS” (Kirov, Russian Federation).

The presentation was attended by representatives of the republican archival institutions.

Yu.A.Skopin, Head of the Department of Innovative Technologies of Nakhodka–AIS LLC, demonstrated the functionality of the system in various areas of the archive’s activities: automatic search for scanned copies of handwritten or printed documents when executing requests, translation of handwritten and printed inventories into electronic form, examination of the value of archival documents, compilation of inventories and scientific reference apparatus for them, checking the nomenclature of cases , etc .

During the presentation, the participants had the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and received comprehensive answers to them.
