On the excursion for 2nd-year students of the Faculty of History and Philology of the A.A. Kuleshov Mogilev State University to the State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region

In the year of quality and as part of the Archives for School campaign, on October 23, 2024, 2nd-year students of the Faculty of History and Philology of the A.A.Kuleshov Mogilev State University visited the State Archive of Public Associations of the Mogilev Region.

During the excursion, the students learned about the history of the archive, the main areas of its activities, the work of the use department, the archive funds and the specifics of working with them, the conditions for storing documents, and the equipment of archival storage facilities.

They also got acquainted with the presented exhibitions: «Defense of the City of Mogilev», «Partisan Movement», «80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the City of Mogilev», «Genocide of the Belarusian People during the Great Patriotic War».

The following documentaries were viewed: «Liberation of the City of Mogilev», «Reunification».

As part of this event, a guided tour of the archive storage was also conducted for visitors.
