The management of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus took part in the Belarusian-Russian round table

On October 11, 2024, in Vyborg (Russian Federation), a Belarusian-Russian round table on the exchange of experience «Prospects for the development of publication and exhibition activities of archives» was held. The head of the Archives Department of the Leningrad Region A.V. Savchenko addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance and significance of the event and expressed confidence that such forums will be held on a regular basis.

The director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter – NARB) A.K. Demyanyuk, via videoconference, presented a report «The All-Republican Action «Archives for School» – a New Direction of Work of Archival Institutions of Belarus», in which he spoke about the experience of the NARB within the framework of the designated action.

Deputy Director of the NARB, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok made a report on the «Internet portal «Partisans of Belarus»: creation, content and prospects for use». He spoke about the large systematic work on filling the Internet portal and the important functions it performs.

Representatives of Belarusian and Russian archival institutions, universities, and the academic community took part in the round table.
