On October 9, 2024, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region were visited by students from Secondary School No.10 in Vitebsk

A training session on organizing the search for information in the archive’s reading room was organized for the children who are part of the research and search group studying the history of their microdistrict. During the visit, the schoolchildren got acquainted with the network of archives of the Republic of Belarus, the composition of the documentary complex of the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, the principles and methods of identifying archival documents, visited one of the archive storages and looked at documents related to the history of the microdistrict in which their school is located.

The event was held as part of the republican campaign «Archives – for School».
